The Outpatient therapy Program at Munster Med-Inn is designed to provide a full range of therapies to those who would benefit from rehab 1-5 days per week. Whether it’s physical, occupational, or speech therapy, an individualized plan can be tailored to your specific needs.
All you need is a doctor’s order. If you suffer from pain, specifically joint pain, you would be a great candidate for outpatient therapy. You may also qualify if you have general weakness, decreased balance and mobility, recent surgery, increased difficulty in performing activities of daily living (getting dressed, showering, toileting, etc.). You may also qualify for speech therapy if you are having difficulty eating, speaking, or swallowing.
Conditions that may benefit from outpatient therapy include:
- Joint replacement
- Orthopedic injuries and other surgeries
- Stroke and other neurological conditions
- Cardiac-related problems
- Pulmonary conditions
- Wound care
- Oncology care
Therapy will be based up your doctor’s recommendations as well as your specific clinical needs. Depending on those needs, you could receive therapy 1 to 5 times per week and approximately 45 minutes to an hour for each discipline (physical, occupational, and speech therapy).
Currently, we accept Medicare Part B and some insurances. Please contact us to see if we accept your specific insurance.
Medicare does pay for outpatient services under its Part B program. We can check that for you if you are not sure if you are enrolled in the Part B program. Medicare Part B covers outpatient therapy at 80% of the costs associated with your specific therapy program. When we customize a plan for you, we can give you a projected estimate before you even start therapy to let you know what your specific out-of-pocket costs would be.
